This lesson was a first for us. And, in my opinion, a last. It just isn’t possible to do either Shoka style (Sanshuike or Shimputai) justice using the same materials. The needs for each style are quite different. Yet, it was worth a try. For the most part, it is likely my fault as the materials were more appropriate for Shimputai and less so for Sanshuike – live and learn!
